Landmark Nursing Home Visit

Everyone enjoyed our visit to the nursing home!! The boys did a great job helping all the residents with their snowmen. Each and every snowman was unique and well loved by the residents. Thank you to all the parents for your help today!!

Nursing Home Visit

We will be visiting Landmark Nursing Home in Hammond on Saturday Dec 14th at 10am. We are going to be making sock snowmen with the residents.The craft will be easy so that the scouts can assist them....but parents may need to assist at times.

The nursing home said the residents are always needing socks, combs, brushes, hair ties, chap stick, tooth paste, tooth brushes, deodorant, house shoes, bags to hang on walkers/wheel chairs if anyone wanted to make a donation of items. If you would rather donate money....let me know and I will purchase items.

We will be making a candy treat and Christmas cards tomorrow at our meeting to take with us to the nursing home.

I need any and all socks...white, colored, mix-matched....anything....we will be using socks to make our snowmen. Do not worry about the foot area...if its stained....we will be cutting that part off!! All sizes are needed.....from baby to adult!! Please bring them with you to the meeting TOMORROW!!!

I am also collecting buttons and scrap pieces of material if anyone has any to donate!! Please bring these to our meeting TOMORROW too!!!
