Loranger Pack 164 and Troop 164 will be teaming up this year for a service project. We
will be packing shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child. National OCC
collection week is Nov. 18th-25th. There is no limit to
the number of boxes that a scout/family can pack. There is no limit to
the number of items to include in the shoe boxes. Dollar
Tree and Dollar Stores carry a great selection of $1-$3 items that work great
for this project. There are 3 age groups….2-4, 5-9, and 10-14. Boxes are due by our Nov. 18th meeting.

How it works:
1.
Take a shoe box any size and wrap
the lid and bottom separate, or you can buy a plastic shoebox and decorate with
stickers/markers. (Wrapping is optional)
2.
Choose to buy for a boy or girl…and
an age category.
3.
Pack items in your box/boxes and
place a rubber band around entire box to keep lid attached.
4.
Place label on side of box and check
which age category you bought for.
